Central Islip Man Sentenced For Rape Of Two Children
Sean Seignious who was convicted by a jury on July 11, 2011 of two counts rape in the first degree, one count of sexual abuse in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child, has been sentenced to 25 years imprisonment.
Sean Seignious was sentenced to 25 years on each rape charge, one to seven years for the sexual abuse count and one year for endangering the welfare of a child. Each sentence to run concurrently. The district attorney's office had made a sentencing recommendation of 50 years in prison.
The two girls, both under the age of thirteen, were victimized back in 2008 and 2009.
