On/or about late 2006 early 2007 the Legal unit of EEOC-NYDO conducted a training on the uselessness of filing a Race (Black) complaints. Training attended by EEOC Legal staff and local attorneys and NELA president Ann Golden her husband attorney Wayne Outten of Law firm of Outten & Golden LLP of NYC other attorneys present. Guest speakers were Top Female attorney from Proskauser & Rose LLP and former Intern/Clerk for federal appellate court (Black Female) both advocated for not filing Race (Black) complaints to the attendees. In attendance was Regional Attorney Elisabeth Grossman, and Lisa Sirkin supervisory attorney for EEOC-NYDO. Many attorneys were present to include one Black male attorney.
